Sunnyside Up


Just off Newmarket Road in the Taunton area of Ashton is the delightful row of cottages known as "Sunnyside". As you can see, it really is!

    these are the type of houses i like ,all cosy like ..you can make them so lovely and comfortable lees ironworks owner had a row of three or four houses built for some of his staff an uncle of mine lived in one ,he was the gardener for lees ,i heard they are still up and wondered if these are the ones ,but im not sure where they were built ,

    There were a number of cottages built for the workers of Lees irons works at Park Bridge. I have photos of them and will show some of them here before long.
