Alphabet Friday - Tennis Courts



"T" is for "Tennis" and these two tennis courts at Rose Hill Tennis Club are hidden away at the top end of Gorsey Lane, not for from The Peaks pub in the Hazelhurst area.

There are not many tennis courts left in the area now. I think there are some at West End Park and Stamford Park.

    Here I go again with another daft but true story of mine.

    So I'm playing tennis at the park off Stockport Rd and Pottinger St. with my best friend and we begin to argue over a play. "That was out", "No it wasn't" and so on. It became so heated, that to the best of my recollection we never played tennis again! I've played at the West End park as well, after all, it was my neck of the woods.
