Joyce! this should really interest you, the photograph of the Old Ball and this one of Henrietta Street, is the bottom of Smallshaw Lane, about 100 yards up (on the right hand side) from this shop is your friends house Fir Bank which is now a nursing home. Are the roads and lane familiar to you?
