Before the Bulldozers Came (2)

A photo taken in March 2002, showing the corner of Blandford Street and Bentinck Street, near Holy Trinity. The corner shop has closed and is looking in a sorry state. None of the buildings seen in this photo has survived. Neither, sadly, has my trusty motor car, making a guest appearance here.

  1. A shame, as they look good solid houses. Why councils ever knock these great Victorian houses down beats me. They were better constructed than new houses.

  2. Are you planning on showing what is located there nowadays and will you park your new car where your old one was parked?
