On Track


This pathway has been created along the old track bed of the railway that once ran from Oldham, through Park Bridge, to Ashton and Guide Bridge. Cranbourne Road crosses the viaduct and the houses in the background are at the top of Turner Lane.

  1. Yes, well I played on here when there were tracks. When trains used the lines.

  2. martin how far does this path go .it is quite close to where we used to cut through facing the old ball to get to school on oldham rd ,we came out onto it just before the top of turner lane ,doesit jin up i wonder with the dirt path we used or are the lords field houses built on that path ,,,
