Another visit this week to Stamford Park, on the border of Ashton and Stalybridge, where today's photo shows the duck pond.
Just three mallards to be seen in this picture, I'm afraid. There are more around, as well as a number of geese, but they were being camera shy on this occasion.

Very nice scene, looks like a lovely place to be around when it's nice weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful place and looks as though the weather was perfect. Such lovely reflections in the water and I love the flowering trees! Have a great week!

Beautiful park and duck pond! We live by a small lake where mallards, geese and one lone swan share the water. There are many more Canada geese than ducks, unfortunately, because the geese are very noisy, territorial and aggressive.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely duck pond. Too bad there is a fence around it though as it would be nice to walk on the dirt path all around the pond and feed the ducks.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a delightful place to be!
