The chimney of Woodend Mill, the last remaining mill chimney in Mossley, points skywards, as does the spire of St John's Church, Roughtown, on the hillside.

We are having the same sort of overcast sky here much of this week, however we have no such pretty path to walk beside a canal. Very nice day for that sort of a walk!
