Last of the Snow Pics

The last of this series of photos showing Easter Sunday's snow was taken from the same spot as yesterday's but looking in a different direction. In this photo we are looking south along Luzley Lane in the direction of the Hare and Hounds pub, which is out of sight about half a mile further on. Luzley Lane runs along the ridge between Ashton and Mossley.

  1. This little niche has lovely memories for me. Walking up this little lane to my nieces home 'Lap Wing Cottage' which was in the middle of about five cottage 'next door' to the Hare & Hounds. She lived there when she first married, moved now. I always thought it a very pleasant spot. Thanks for the memory. M

  2. That looks too cold for my blood. I'd struggle to get out of bed!

  3. Brrrrr! It was below freezing here last night, and we hope that is the last of freezing temps.
That is a fairly deep snowfall!
